The challenge

De Lacy at Home sells hand-poured soy wax candles, home fragrance, and gift sets across both Shopify and Etsy. Each platform demanded its own product updates, stock counts, and order management — meaning Kerris was effectively running two businesses, and stock errors were a constant risk.

What we did

8Caps built an automation layer that treats Shopify as the source of truth and keeps Etsy in lock-step via the Etsy API, with Make.com orchestrating product syncs, stock reconciliation, and unified order routing. The team adds a product once and ships from one workflow — and the books stay clean.

Keeping Shopify and Etsy in sync used to be a nightmare. I'd add a candle to one and forget the other, or run out of stock without noticing. That's all done for me now, so I can actually pour candles instead of update spreadsheets.
